Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada penduduk termasuk lanjut usia dan penyedia layanan di fasilitas LTC (Perawatan Jangka Panjang atau PJP) atau panti sosial. Salah satu dampaknya terhadap kondisi psikososial lanjut usia dan penyedia layanan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi psikososial lanjut usia dan penyedia layanan di fasilitas LTC saat pandemi COVID-19. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil pengumpulan data secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dalam bentuk Google Form, dan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, dilakukan pada masa pandemi COVID-19 tahun 2021. Kuesioner diberikan pada panti pemerintah pusat, provinsi, kabupaten atau kota, dan masyarakat sesuai hasil verifikasi dari Kementerian Sosial. Pemilihan fasilitas LTC didasarkan atas kepemilikan akreditasi, pelayanan dalam fasilitas LTC, dan keterwakilan wilayah barat, tengah, dan timur. Sebanyak 102 fasilitas LTC mengisi sesuai dengan ketentuan dalam pedoman kuesioner. Penerapan pembatasan sosial berdampak pada gangguan psikososial lanjut usia dan penyedia layanan di fasilitas LTC. Gangguan spikologis paling banyak dialami penyedia layanan fasilitas LTC adalah stress (52persen), dan untuk lanjut usia perasaan sedih (47persen). Perasaan kesepian ini timbul, karena adanya batasan sosial, sehingga berbagai kegiatan yang biasa dilakukan di fasilitas LTC juga dihentikan. Kunjungan dari keluarga juga dibatasi atau dilarang. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu bimbingan konseling, interaksi sosial antara penyedia layanan dan sesama lanjut usia di fasilitas LTC.
